Our Delivery Promise

On-time deliveries and products arriving in good order are not just part of the job at Ragnar Racking and Ragnar Products, they are the job. These things matter to us because they matter to you. We know how important it is to get what you ordered, when you expected it, and in the condition it’s meant to arrive. That’s how we’re judged, and we take it seriously.

We’ve worked with our trusted carriers for years and we’re happy with the service levels they provide. Sadly, good service is often missing these days. Maybe we are seen as old fashioned or dinosaurs today, but we genuinely believe customer service really is King. Our customers pay our wages. We don’t forget that, ever.

Who Delivers What?

All orders are delivered Monday to Friday, either by Pallex or DHL.

If you’ve ordered a full racking system, it will arrive with Pallex as a palletised delivery. These require someone to be at the address to receive them. We don’t leave pallet deliveries unattended, no matter how safe you might think the spot is.

If it’s a part system or just accessories, most orders go with DHL. Occasionally, smaller items may be sent via Royal Mail.

We’ll always get in touch after your order is placed to confirm the parts are right and to make sure everything adds up. Once that’s sorted, we’ll let you know the dispatch details and when you can expect it to arrive.

Our Track Record

We’re proud to say our Pallex deliveries have achieved a 99.9 percent on-time delivery rate over the past five years. DHL isn’t far behind, with 99.6 percent of orders arriving when expected. Very few deliveries ever go past a second day.

The biggest reason for missed deliveries? Nobody’s in when it arrives or there’s no safe place mentioned. Please help us out by making sure someone is home, or by giving clear instructions if you’ll be away.

You want your order to arrive on time. We want your order to arrive on time. The couriers want your order to arrive on time. Let’s make that happen.

If Something Goes Wrong

We use Pallex and DHL because we trust them to get the job done. But no system is perfect. If your order doesn’t arrive within the expected timeframe, we’ll take responsibility for chasing it up and sorting it out.

Some things are out of our control, but we’ll do our best to give you a positive experience from start to finish.

If you’re in a remote area, it might be worth choosing an alternative delivery address. Couriers are often under tight schedules, and while it’s not ideal, they may not have time to hunt for hard-to-find properties. We just want your order to get to you, on time and with as little fuss as possible.

Delivery Tracking

Palletised deliveries don’t come with live tracking. Drivers can be held up waiting to unload at other locations, so timing becomes difficult to predict. What we will do is confirm the day of delivery ahead of time, so you’re not left guessing.

DHL deliveries are easier to track. We’ll send you a tracking link by email, and DHL will provide a delivery day and usually a two-hour window. That time slot can’t be changed, so please make sure someone’s available to sign for it.

If that’s not possible, you can leave a note with instructions for a safe place. Just be aware that we can’t take responsibility if the item is tampered with or goes missing after being left unattended.

Damaged or Missing Items

We take pride in how carefully we package and deliver our products. In fact, we’ve only had one pallet damaged in transit in the past five years, and we had that sorted within 24 hours.

When your order arrives, please check it over. Make sure everything’s there, nothing’s damaged, and that you’ve received exactly what you ordered.

If anything is missing or damaged, let us know within 72 hours of delivery. We can’t accept claims after that point. It’s not bureaucracy, it’s just the only way we can follow things up properly.
